-I remember well and thankfully they went the way of the dodo bird. Cross talk and wow/flutter was a critical specification that made for overall poor fidelity. I do get the nostalgia and it’s was the best technology for mobile at the time but it pretty much sucked.

-Maybe not a car stereo but, I use to have this cool thing called The Big Mouth it was a huge jam box that had an 8-track tape deck on the side of it and an AM/FM radio.
