My Pregnancy Experience
It was a period of anticipation and excitement.
She remained remarkably calm, and for that, I am truly grateful.
Admittedly, there were complications stemming from my unique situation, you know, my personal challenge. However, despite these hurdles, the pregnancy unfolded smoothly, proving to be an unforgettable and tranquil journey—a truly beautiful experience.
Meet Zaia, my little princess, and Edmilson, an extraordinary individual.
He’s truly incredible.
His presence is wonderful.
Edmilson is my constant support, assisting me with everything, especially when it comes to these pipes.
These past seven months have been a whirlwind, but they’ve also been the best months of my life.
It’s been truly wonderful.
Every moment spent with Zaia is incredibly special.
She is absolutely perfect.
I am Karine.
Social media judges me.
I made a difficult decision under these circumstances.
The challenge I face is known as xeroderma pigmentosum.
It’s a rare disease, affecting one child in every million.
This condition imposes limitations on us, preventing any exposure to sunlight or any source of light transmitting ultraviolet rays.
At the age of three, I received a diagnosis of xeroderma pigmentosum.Every time I shield myself from the sun, my skin reveals these small spots that signify skin cancer, you know?
I’ve undergone 219 surgeries, all aimed at removing these skin lesions. Some images are intricate, others simpler, like the one involving Kelly. It was when I discovered I was pregnant that I learned about two nodules in my lung.Until then, these nodules remained stable, and the doctor only monitored them through exams in April. However, additional lesions emerged, you know, on my skin and back, causing significant pain, requiring surgical intervention. So, they needed to address the initial injuries through surgery.Until then, I wasn’t aware of my pregnancy; I just knew I was already expecting.Huh?Today, I am profoundly grateful to God.Indeed, because if it weren’t for addressing those injuries promptly, I might have lost her, right?Unfortunately, the decisions I made during that critical time were confirmed in the biopsy, which was recent and already conducted at home.Yes, I’m about to undergo treatment today. It’s chemotherapy this time, part of my therapy. I’m eagerly awaiting the results of the upcoming treatment.I’ve been using these eye drops for about three months now because I was experiencing vision loss in my right eye.I can no longer see in my left eye, and I was losing vision in my right eye as well. Thankfully, this treatment with the eye drops seems to be working, and the condition hasn’t impacted my personal life, not even as a mother, because I always give my best in everything I do.⬇️⬇️⬇️video here
