Eva Jacqueline Longoria Bastón[1], born March 15, 1975, as Longoria, is an American actress, producer, director, and businesswoman. After having a few guest parts on different TV shows, she became famous for her role as Isabella Braña on The Young and the Restless, a CBS daytime soap opera that she played from 2001 to 2003.

She is best known for her part as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC show Desperate Housewives, which ran from 2004 to 2012. For this role, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and won two Screen Actors Guild Awards with the rest of the cast.

Longoria has won three ALMA Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, and a Teen Choice Award. She has also been in several movies, including “Over Her Dead Body” (2008), “For Greater Glory” (2012), “Frontera” (2014), “Lowriders” (2016), and “Overboard” (2018), for which she later won the Imagen Award for Best Actress Film.
