Patrick and Brittany Mahomes visited young shooting victims from the Kansas City Chiefs parade at the hospital.
Fox4 News reports that the two sisters, ages 8 and 10, were shot in the legs and underwent surgery. They are doing well but have a long road to recovery.
The family released a statement saying, “We want to give a personal thank you to the staff of Children’s Mercy Hospital and Patrick & Brittany Mahomes for their outpouring care, love, and support.”
